About ICIE

The International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE) is an international non-governmental public organization, established on February 21, 1992.

At present ICIE membership comprises the national unions of industrialists and entrepreneurs from 28 European and Asian countries. More than 100 enterprises, organizations, firms and other structures from various branches of the economy and different countries are partners of the Congress.

The International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs has official status with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS), as well as long-term partnership with the International Centre for Scientific and Technical Information, the General Confederation of Trade Unions, the International Road Federation. The Congress carries out joint work with the CIS Executive Committee and its structures, the Union of Black Sea and Caspian Confederation of Enterprises.

The main activities of the ICIE include consulting and legal support of its members, development and implementation of research, industrial, investment programmes and projects. The International Congress also renders support  in establishing and developing enterprises of various forms of ownership, in their adaptation to market economy conditions, in expanding international links with the aim of strengthening economic and industrial potential of the regions, where the enterprises function.
