The development of tourism between Russia and the Republic of Korea is reaching a new level

The delegation of representatives of South Korean travel companies arrived in Vladivostok on a working visit with the support and assistance of the Representative Office of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE or Congress) in the Far East and the Asia-Pacific Region. The main purpose of the visit is the development of cooperation in the sphere of tourism between the Republic of Korea and Russia, in particular, Primorsky region.

The tourism business of the Republic of Korea was represented by Mr. Ryu Kyung Bok, CEO of INCOS TOUR Co.,Ltd, Mr. Mun Ho, CEO of Europe center operation, Mr. Im Du Geng, CEO of Tour Bell and others.

During the visit and for preparation of the new tourist season, the Korean side got acquainted with the hotels of Vladivostok, as well as the tourist routes of the city and the Primorsky region.

The Far Eastern region has a great tourist potential. There are various tours and routes, magnificent nature, ethnic culture and folk crafts. Tourists from South Korea got acquainted with the Russian Far Eastern region with pleasure, for them it is the closest Europe in Asia. By the way, in October, the Korean airline Jeju Air has launched a regular flight, connecting Primorsky Region and Korea. This could be another reason for tourists from South Korea to visit Primorsky region and Vladivostok.

Reference: According to the Department of Tourism of Primorsky region, for tourism and with private invitations 33.600 people from South Korea arrived in Primorsky region, which is actually twice bigger as in the same period of 2016.
