The Agreement was signed between Russian and South Korean companies on joint cooperation in the automotive business with the assistance of the ICIE

With the assistance of the Office of International Congess of industrialists and entrepreneurs (ICIE or Congress) in the Asia-Pacific region, business talks were held between the Vice President of the Sumotori Group Mr.Yuri Bystrov and the President and CEO of the South Korean company Daedong Car Adjust Co., Ltd. Mr. Choi Si Nam.

This event is the first with the participation of the ICIE after the announcement at a meeting of the ICIE Council Presidium on December 8, 2017 in Yekaterinburg on the establishment in Vladivostok of the ICIE Office for the Work with the Business Circles of the Far East and South-East Asia countries, headed by Evgeny Rusetskiy.

As part of these talks, the parties signed an agreement on joint cooperation in the field of automobile business. In particular, the issues of joint production in Vladivostok on the basis of Korean low-tonnage trucks of specialized vehicles, including vans for the provision of medical assistance, refrigerators, ambulances, thermo vans, etc., were touched upon.

It should be noted that for the Sumotori Group of Companies this experience with a foreign company is not the first. Earlier, they entered into cooperation agreements with such companies as First Automobile Works, China, and Arai Shoji Co. Ltd, Japan.

The parties also discussed the intention of joint participation of the Russian and Korean parties in the motor show in May 2018 in Vladivostok with the display of joint products, as well as the international industrial exhibition Innoprom, which will be held in July 2018 in Yekaterinburg and the partner of which will be the Republic of Korea.
