ICIE and the Republic of Indonesia: cooperation for the sake of progress

Moscow, July 25, 2018.

The meeting of the President of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Artem Chayka and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus M. Wahid Supriyadi took place.

The sides noted the importance of the Indonesian economy not only in the Asia-Pacific region, but also in the whole world, discussed the possibility of cooperation between Indonesia’s business and members of Congress in various fields: mining, agriculture, tourism and ecology.

Artem Chayka noted Mr. Supriyadi ‘s active position on the development of relations between the countries and expressed confidence that mutual cooperation between industrialists and entrepreneurs of the countries represented in the Congress and Indonesia’s business will significantly increase the turnover, will facilitate the implementation of specific projects and programs in investment and innovation spheres.

In its turn, M. Wahid Supriyadi invited the ICIE to interact with the business circles of the country, as well as business associations, for example the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Indonesia.

At the end of the meeting, the parties once again confirmed their intention to develop joint activities, strengthen business contacts, including through participation in events, for example, the Russian-Indonesian business forum on August 2, 2018. The possibility of organizing the ICIE delegation’s trip to Indonesia in the autumn of this year is also discussed.
