ICIE will help to establish practical cooperation between the DPRK and the Republic of Korea

The participants of the Council meeting of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entreprenurs (ICIE or Congress), held on May 14 in Thessaloniki, the Hellenic Republic,welcome the successful holding of the meeting of the leaders of the Republic of Korea and the Korean People’s Democratic Republic and consider it necessary to express their support for the efforts of the leadership of the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to normalize the situation on the Korean Peninsula, peace and denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and, as a result, the conclusion of a peace treaty between the North and the South. In this regard, the leadership of the ICIE is ready and will facilitate the establishment of practical interaction between the DPRK and the Republic of Korea, including through the development of economic cooperation with the participation of representatives of the ICIE, in the interests of forming a system of peace and security in Northeast Asia and, as a result, economic conditions for further mutually beneficial cooperation of ICIE members with companies, organizations, commercial organizations, industry and government organizations of the Republic of Korea and the DPRK.
